New AUDI A8

BASICALLY AN upgrade of the current flagship saloon from Audi, this new version has a few difficult-to-spot modifications. The A8 may be made of aluminium, but the current car is not significantly lighter than any of its steel-built rivals now, however, the car will come with a lot of weight shaved off, meaning emissions, fuel-economy and performance will be positively impacted. There are some new motors available and Audi claims to have given the very light steering of the A8 some more feel and heft. What hasn’t changed is the cool- as - an iceberg status enjoyed by the car.

BENTLEY CONTINENTAL GT SPEED
THIS SPECIAL version of Bentleys crazy Continental GT gets even more power and now makes a barely-believable 600bhp. It also gets the Speed moniker that re­minds you of the big-blower Bentleys of yore. The car looks similar from the outside to the regular GT except for the wider radiator and 20- inch wheels. The cabin has been thoroughly freshened up, looking like an executive boardroom on wheels. The light tan interiors are very generously furnished, with acres of wood and other expensive-looking bits.
