World's Expensive Toy Car

AUDI HAS revealed the world’s most expensive toy car - the Auto Union Type C pedal car - as a limited-edition collector's item with only 999 built. It is made up of over 900 individual parts and features a hydraulic dual-disc brake; speed is controlled via a seven-speed hub gear with back-pedal­ling brake function. High­lights include the aluminium spaceframe and body pan- ling which, just like on the full-size Audi models, sym­bolise the brand’s expertise in lightweight design. The seats, framing and steer­ing wheel are upholstered in leather, as in the Audi TT, while the elegant spoke wheels are custom-made.
