Itenarary

Day 1:
Arrive Chennai airport and transfer to Tirupati (187 kms / 5 hours drive). Arrive and check in your hotel, overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2:
After breakfast proceed for Darshan. Evening is at leisure, overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3:
Proceed to Chennai after an early breakfast. Enroute visit St. George Fort, Govt. museum, Valluvur Kotam, snake park, Kapaleeshwar temple. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4:
After breakfast embark on an excursion to Mahabalipuram (50 kms / 2 hours drive). Visit Tirukkakali Kundaram – a hilltop temple dedicated to lord Shiva (550 steps to be ascended bare footed). Also visit Tiger cave and Vedantangal Bird Sanctuary. Return back to Chennai in the evening, overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5:
Check out after breakfast and proceed to Pondicherry (162 kms / 5 hours drive). Arrive and check in your hotel. Later visit Sri Aurobindo Ashram to experience the Indo-French culture. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6:
After breakfast visit Pondicherry museum, Police museum, Sri Aurobindo Handmade paper factory (open for visitors till 12.00 noon only), Sacred heart church, Sri Manakula Vinayagar temple, Botannical gardens and the beautiful and quiet Pondicherry beach. Overnight stay at the museum.

Day 7:
After an early breakfast proceed to Thanjavur (177 kms / 7 hours drive). Arrive and check in your hotel..

Day 8:
After breakfast, proceed on a city tour. Visit Thanjavur Palace, museum and Brihadeeshwara temple and Fort. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 9:
Embark on an excursion to Trichirapalli (54 kms / 2 hours drive). Visit Sri Ranganathswamy temple, Sri Jambukeshwara Temple, Rock fort temple, Lourdes church, St. John’s church and Natharwala Dargah. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 10:
Check out after breakfast and proceed to Rameshwaram (264 kms / 9 hours drive), arrive and check in your hotel.

Day 11:
After breakfast visit Ramanathaswamy temple, Kothandaraswamy temple, Adam’s bridge, Gandamadana Parvatham. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 12:
Check out after breakfast and proceed to Madurai (172 kms / 6 hours drive). Arrive and check in your hotel.

Day 13:
Embark on a sight seeing tour of Madurai after breakfast. Visit Sri Meenakshi Temple, Tirumalai Nayak Palace, Gandhi memorial museum and Mariamma Teppakkulam Tank. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 14:
Pack your bags and be ready to proceed to the airport / railway station for your return journey.
